Ingredients:
Crust:
2 cups pretzel sticks, finely crushed
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
Cheesecake Filling:
3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 large eggs
Strawberry Topping:
1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Crust:
In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar.
Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, making sure to press firmly to form an even layer.
Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Add 1 cup of granulated sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
