Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer  : Set the air fryer to 350°F (177°C) for 3 minutes on the Air Fry/Air Crisp setting.
  2. Prepare the ramekins  : Once preheated, drizzle a light coating of oil into each ramekin. Use your finger or a pastry brush to spread the oil around the edges to prevent sticking.
  3. Add water  : Pour 3-4 tablespoons of hot water into each baking dish.
  4. Cracking the eggs  : Gently crack an egg into each bowl, being careful not to break the yolk.
  5. Air fry eggs  : Place the ramekins directly into the air fryer basket/tray. Cook the eggs for 5-7 minutes, depending on how cooked you prefer the yolks. Refer to the table below for exact times.
  6. Remove and serve  : Once cooked, carefully remove the ramekins from the air fryer. Gently use a rubber spatula to lift the eggs from the ramekins. If they’re stuck, run a knife around the edges of the ramekins to loosen them.
  7. Serving  : Transfer the eggs to a plate or garnish your prepared toast. Season with salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
