Combine 10 grams of boric acid and half a liter of boiling water in a container. Give it a good stir until the acid dissolves entirely. Because boric acid functions as a natural pesticide that is benign for the environment yet toxic to ants, this solution is essential to the treatment’s success.
3. Let the peels soak in the mixture.
Make sure the banana peels are fully submerged in the solution by placing them inside the container. To ensure that they absorb the mixture uniformly, let them sit for at least four hours.
4. Slice the shells into little bits.
After soaking, remove the shells and use a knife or scissors to chop them into little pieces. The ants will find it simpler to carry the fragments back to the nest as a result.
5. Disperse the shell fragments throughout the garden.
Put the fragments of shell behind bushes, next to flower pots, or along walkways where ants are most active. To get the most impact, make sure to place them in strategic locations.
6. Cut off the colony from the root structure.
