When a cockroach creeps into your ear, the first thing you’re likely to feel is worry or sharp pain. Its legs may scratch the sensitive lining of your ear canal, leading to irritation and swelling. Many people report hearing the insect crawling inside, which can lead to panic or nausea.
In some cases, the cockroach may remove inside the ear, leading to infection if not got rid of promptly. Dead tissue mixed with your body’s reaction to a foreign object can cause pus, inflammation, and sometimes temporary hearing loss.
