Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs for more juiciness)
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
3–4 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for a little heat)
1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening the sauce)
1 tbsp water (if using cornstarch)
Instructions:
Prep the Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts (or thighs) with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cook the Chicken:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp should be 165°F / 75°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
