Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.

Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.

Stir in shredded cabbage, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5–7 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.

Unroll one package of crescent rolls and press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust.

Spread the beef and cabbage mixture evenly over the crust.

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the meat mixture.

Unroll the second package of crescent rolls and lay it over the top to form the upper crust.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and flaky.

Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
