Before calling a plumber or pouring gallons of chemicals, know that there is a quick, effective and ecological solution. And the best part? You probably already have everything you need at home!

Why is your pipe getting clogged?

A clogged sink or shower never happens by chance. Several factors can be responsible for this common problem:

Hair and soap scum buildup : Over time, hair that falls into the shower or sink mixes with soap scum and forms a clog.
Grease and food residue : In the kitchen, grease and food residue can build up and harden inside pipes, slowing down water drainage .
Unsuitable products thrown down the sink : Cotton buds, wipes, coffee grounds, etc. Certain objects and substances should never be poured down the drain , otherwise they could cause major blockages.
Damaged piping : A cracked or broken pipe can reduce the efficiency of water flow and promote the buildup of residue.
