Soft and creamy homemade cream cheese made from two ingredients.

Ingredients:

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 large egg
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– Holiday sprinkles or colored sugar for decorating

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture until a soft dough forms.

5. Roll dough into small balls and place on the prepared baking sheets. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon and sprinkle with festive holiday sprinkles.

6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

7. Let cool on wire racks and enjoy!
