Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a greased gratin dish, layer a portion of the sliced potatoes.
Mix the cream with the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour some over the layer of potatoes.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
Sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
Bake for 40-45 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
