Velvety Peanut Butter Dream Pie

In a mixing bowl, combine crushed cookies with melted butter. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
In a separate bowl, beat the peanut butter with cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and continue beating until fully incorporated.
Fold in the whipped topping gently until the mixture is uniform. Pour the filling into the chilled crust.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until set.
