4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons red food coloring
1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Cream cheese frosting (1 package cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, softened, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
Directions:Warm the milk to about 110°F (43°C) and mix with the yeast and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, remaining sugar, eggs, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and stir.
Gradually add flour and cocoa powder until the dough comes together.
Knead on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the top. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the butter.
Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes. While baking, mix the frosting ingredients until smooth.
Remove rolls from oven and top with cream cheese frosting while still warm.
