Prepare the cupcakes:

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

Decorate the cupcakes:
Once the cupcakes are cool, frost them with the vanilla frosting, leaving a small border around the edges.
Use the chocolate frosting to create the fox’s eyes, nose, and ears. For the eyes and nose, use chocolate chips.
To make the ears, cut the mini marshmallows in half diagonally and dip the cut side into the orange food coloring, then place them on the cupcakes.

Add any additional decorations or details as desired to enhance the fox appearance.
