Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until well combined.
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
Prepare the Peanut Butter Layer:
In a medium bowl, beat the creamy peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the cooled brownie layer.
Prepare the Chocolate Ganache:
In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer.
Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth and glossy.
Pour the ganache over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly.
Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the brownies for at least 1 hour, or until the ganache is set.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
