Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise and seeds scraped out (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
2 1/4 teaspoons powdered gelatin (about 1 packet)
3 tablespoons cold water
Fresh berries or fruit compote, for serving (optional)
Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Prepare the Panna Cotta Mixture:
In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla bean seeds (or vanilla extract).
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a simmer. Remove from heat.
