Pumpkin Streusel Bread Recipe (1 Pound Loaf)

Prepare the Oven and Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Make the Bread:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
In another bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs, and water until well combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Make the Streusel Topping:
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
Cut in the cold butter with a pastry blender or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the chopped nuts if using.
Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the batter in the loaf pan.
Bake the Bread:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
If the top is browning too quickly, tent with aluminum foil.
Cool and Serve:
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and serve, enjoying the rich pumpkin flavor and crispy streusel topping.
This Pumpkin Streusel Bread is perfect for a morning treat, a sweet snack with coffee, or as a dessert offering at fall gatherings. Enjoy the festive flavors!
