Guinness Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients:
Cupcakes:
1 cup Guinness stout
1 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 large eggs
2/3 cup sour cream
Frosting:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
Make the Cupcake Batter:
In a medium saucepan, bring the Guinness and butter to a simmer over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the cocoa powder and whisk until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
