Caroline’s Homemade Dark Chocolate Toffee Recipe

Ingredients:
For the Toffee:
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Topping:
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
1 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, or walnuts work well)
