Chocolate Fudge Swirl Banana Muffins

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the banana mixture, stirring just until incorporated.
In a small bowl, mix the cocoa powder with hot water until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Fill each muffin cup halfway with the banana batter. Add a spoonful of the chocolate fudge mixture, then top with more banana batter. Use a toothpick to swirl the chocolate fudge mixture slightly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpaste inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
