Indulgent Chocolate Kahlua Cheesecake

In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch (23cm) springform pan to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add heavy cream, Kahlua liqueur, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
Fold in melted chocolate until fully incorporated.
Pour the filling over the chilled crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
Before serving, dust with cocoa powder if desired.
