1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream, chilled
For Assembling:
1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/4 cup strawberry jam (optional, for glazing)
