This is one of my husband's all time faves, he practically asks for this at least once a week

For serving: sub sandwich buns, sliced provolone cheese, roasted peppers, pepperoncini, grilled onions, etc.

Instructions:

In a saucepan, combine water and all seasonings. Bring to a boil.

Place the roast in a 6-quart slow cooker. Pour the boiling seasoning mix over it. Cook on low for 9 hours or high for 4 hours.

Discard bay leaves. Shred the roast with forks in the slow cooker. Let it sit for 30 minutes to absorb juices.

Serve on buns. For a touch of luxury, add cheese and broil open-faced for 1-2 minutes. Finish with preferred toppings
