COOKING GARLIC BUTTER SEAFOOD

Fill a large stockpot with water, leaving enough room at the top for the seafood. Add old bay seasoning, lemon and bay leaves. Bring to a gentle boil.

Add crab legs, sausage and corn. Cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes.

Add the shrimp. Cook for 5 minutes (shrimp will turn pink, do not overcook).

Drain the water and remove the bay leaves. Transfer to a serving platter or leave in the stockpot.

Pour the delicious garlic butter sauce over the top and/or set some sauce aside to dip the seafood in (recipe below). GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE

Melt a piece of butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and fry until translucent.

Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, stirring constantly to prevent garlic from burning. Add lemon juice and all spices. Adjust cayenne pepper and red pepper to your level of spiciness.

Add the remaining 3 pieces of butter. Simmer, stirring constantly, until the butter has melted.

If using chicken broth, gently stir it into the mixture now. Pour your favorite seafood over the top and/or reserve some for dipping.

Enjoy!
