Easy Christmas Cake

In bowl, combine cherries, citrus peel, raisins, currants, dates, also almonds. Stir in brandy. Let it stand for 2 h . Soak fruit in half a cup of flour.
Heat the oven to 275°F (135°C). Grease an 8" x 8" x 3" cake pan, line it with parchment paper, and grease it again. In bowl, mixing flour, baking soda, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, & salt. Sit apart.
In a large bowl, cream butter until light. Mix it gradually with brown sugar and eggs. Mix molasses with apple juice. Whisk mixture into butter mixture alternately with flour mixture, making 4 dry additions and 3 liquid additions. Add the crushed fruit. Turn into a ready frying pan.
Baking in preheated oven about 3 to 3 1/2 h. Remove it from the pan and lift the paper. Cool cake totally, then wrap in wax paper. Store in an airtight-container.
