CHEESE POTATO & SMOKED SAUSAGE CASSEROLE

The combination of sausages and potatoes simply seems like it was meant to be, don't you think? If you believe the same, this recipe for Cheese Potato & Smoked Sausage Casserole is ideal for you. A rich and creamy sauce is used to coat the potatoes, which are partly cooked and combined with chopped smoked and cured sausages before being baked. To be sure, more cheese is sprinkled on top before everything is baked together in the oven.
Because this recipe calls for smoked and cured sausages, there is no need to cook the sausages first. If you're just using smoked sausages, though, you may wish to cook them for a few minutes beforehand. Despite the fact that this recipe asks for keeping the skins on the potatoes to provide texture (as well as fiber), you may definitely peel them if you want. The wonderful thing about casseroles is that they can be modified to your taste.
