Puff pastry and chocolate braid

1. This recipe is so quick that you will make it in record time. Start by preheating the oven to 200º so it will be ready when you receive the braid.
2. Roll out the puff pastry and place the chocolate bar in the middle on top. On the sides, make horizontal cuts separated from each other by about 2 centimeters.
3. Now we are going to do a little DIY, close each strip as if you were making a braid. On one side and the other, place them so that they are braided. Swap the strips from one side to the other.
4. We will beat the beaten egg well and we will paint the whole braid. Above we will place the well chopped almonds or walnuts. If you like something sweet you can add sugar or a little cinnamon, it’s not lacking in sweetness, but it never hurts.
5. Place the braid of puff pastry on the baking tray on parchment paper so that it does not stick. In just 20 minutes we will have this dessert ready. You can quickly enjoy it whenever you want.
