Ingredients:
For the meatball (meatballs):
500 g minced meat (usually a mixture of beef and pork)
1 onion, finely chopped
1-2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 egg
Breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper to taste
Ground nutmeg (optional)
For the onion sauce:
2-3 large onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter or oil
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
500 ml beef or vegetable stock
Salt and pepper to taste
