These savory lentil patties are a delicious meatless substitute that will satisfy your cravings. These patties are both healthy and delicious as they are full of lentils and vegetables and seasoned just the same. Here's a quick way to prepare them:
What you need:
1.5 cups (about 285 grams) red lentils: dry
1/2 of a large shallot, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
Use 15 grams or 1/4 cup grated carrot from a small carrot. finely chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons pureed tomatoes
1/4 teaspoon salt
half teaspoon ground pepper
Use olive oil in your recipes
Unnecessary binding ingredients (omit eggs for an egg-free version):
half a cup of baking mix,
one or two eggs (if you don't have any on hand, you can use a binding agent made from flaxseed powder and water instead).
