  • Boiling water to sterilize jars

Preparation:

  1. Slice the tomatoes and puree them, then put them in a pot and bring to the boil.
  2. Remove any foam that forms on the surface as it cooks, then continue cooking for a few minutes before turning off the heat.
  3. Prick the tomatoes with a fork and place them in sterilized jars. Fill the jars with the tomato puree.
  4. To seal, immerse the jars in boiling water in a pot to create a vacuum. Store in a cool and dry place.
