Bratwurst with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut

Instructions:
Peel potatoes and cut into small pieces. Cook in salted water until tender, about 20 minutes.
Slowly heat the sauerkraut in a pot.
Slowly heat the veal sausages in a pan with a little oil until they are cooked through without bursting.
In the meantime, cut the onion, half an apple and the two pineapple slices into small pieces. Fry lightly in a pan with a little oil. Mix with the sauerkraut and season with sugar to taste.
As soon as the potato pieces are soft, drain them. Add the cream and mash the potatoes by hand to make a puree. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Serve the veal sausages with mustard, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes.
