Often when we buy bananas in the supermarket, we notice how this fruit tends to rot and turn black within a few days. However, there is a special method of preservation; this will help us keep bananas intact for about two years.  .

A varied and healthy diet is the basis for a healthy lifestyle. Actually, our body is a perfect machine, but in order to function properly, it needs to be properly nourished. When it comes to eating well, it's impossible not to mention how important it is  to eat the right amount of fruits and vegetables every day.   In fact, both are considered natural sources of  vitamins and minerals  .  Bananas  are also one of the most popular fruits.

In fact, they are perfect to add to a delicious cake, energy-packed smoothies or, alternatively, even to eat alone. As far as nutritional properties    are concerned, bananas are known to contain a lot of  potassium   as well as a moderate amount of vitamin A; Contains B vitamins and vitamin C.

However, we have all probably encountered a problem when buying bananas: after a few days, this fruit begins to turn black and  rot&/strong> . We have certainly already tried everything possible to try to prevent this from happening, but in vain. Although it involves a series of steps that must be carried out carefully, it will help us keep the bananas in good condition for a good two years.

Bananas: How to Store Them

Storing bananas for more than a few days without rotting may seem impossible, but nothing is impossible, especially if you know the right tricks and remedies. Of course, the first thing you need to do is buy the amount of bananas you want; rub the peel with a toothbrush and a little  baking soda  ; rinse them under running water and dry them with paper towels.

Proceed by removing both ends of the fruit and, without removing the peel, cutting the bananas into pieces about two fingers thick. Once this is done, all you need to do is   get  one or more glass pots with a capacity of about 700 ml and add the following ingredients in exactly this order: A leaf of bay leaf&/strong> ; two cloves of garlic or two cloves; two slices of chili (previously cut); a teaspoon of seeds 

Then we can insert the banana pieces (in a glass of the above size there will be about a dozen) and two or three slices of chili. Then we add a teaspoon of  sugar  ; one and a half teaspoons  of salt  ; Add a teaspoon  of 70% vinegar  and a little  hot water   .
