How to prepare Cream of Frozen Peas
To enjoy a delicious cream of frozen peas, the first thing we must do is peel the onion and leek, and chop them.
Then, we sauté them in a frying pan, over medium heat, with a little oil. When they begin to soften, add the peeled and chopped potato, and sauté for another couple of minutes.

Add the frozen peas and cover with water. When they start to boil, season with salt and pepper and lower the heat a little, letting it boil for a quarter of an hour.
Before mashing we check that the potato is tender and we remove a little water if we think it will be too liquid, reserving the broth in case we finally have to add it.
We crush and pass the dough through the strainer, optionally. Afterwards, all that remains is to plate the cream and decorate as desired.
It can be with peas, a spoonful of yogurt, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, some mint leaves... whatever we like the most or what we have on hand. Delicious!
