2 tablespoons salt with herbs
1-Preheat the oven to 180° Celsius. Wash and rinse the turkey, discard the innards or add them to the tray and you're done.
2-Place the turkey in a roaster or cast iron saucepan. Pull the skin on the turkey breast to loosen it slightly. Place 3 tablespoons of butter on both the top and under the skin of the breast. This makes the breast more juicy.
3-Mix the warm water with the chicken broth, parsley and onion. Pour over the turkey. Season well.
4-Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 80° Celsius (180° F). Uncover for the last 45 minutes to allow the turkey skin to brown.
