°2 large skinless chicken breasts, cubed
°1 chopped onion
°10ml (2 teaspoons) minced garlic
°1 bay leaf
°2 stalks celery, diced
°500ml (2 cups) sweet potato, peeled and diced
°750ml (3 cups) chicken broth
°Pepper to taste
°375 ml (1 1/2 cups) 15% cooking cream
°45 ml (3 tablespoons) cornstarch
°500ml (2 cups) broccoli, cut into small florets
°500ml (2 cups) grated cheddar cheese

In a large slow cooker, place the chicken, onion, garlic, bay leaf, celery, sweet potatoes, and chicken broth. pepper and stir.
Cover and cook for 7 to 8 hours on low intensity.
In a bowl, mix the cream with the cornstarch.
About 30 minutes before the end of cooking, add the broccoli, 375ml (1 1/2 cups) of the cheese, and the cornstarch dissolved in the slow cooker. flip over.
When ready to serve, remove and discard bay leaf. Divide the chowder among the bowls and top with the remaining cheese.
