Mongolian Ground Beef Chow Mein in Slow Cooker

Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Garnish: sliced green onions and sesame seeds
  • 1 package (about 14 ounces) chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup thinly sliced onions
  • 1 package (about 14 ounces) coleslaw mix
