Untouched Garlic for a Year: How to Store It
Experienced chefs surely know this way of storing garlic. First, take half a kilo of garlic cloves and soak them in warm water for about an hour. After drying them, peel them, and you'll see they peel easily because the skin has softened.
Next, put all the garlic cloves in a sterilized glass jar. Then pour in two tablespoons of coarse salt, it should be about 30 grams of salt. Now you can add a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, or if you prefer, pour in white vinegar, this ingredient helps keep the garlic intact.
