1. Simply knead the flour, sugar, butter and cocoa powder into crumbles. Then grease a springform pan with a diameter of 26 cm, sprinkle it with flour and put half of the sprinkles into the pan and then press the base firmly.

2. Now wash 250 g of cherries, drain them and then remove the stones. Mix the sugar, butter, salt and vanilla sugar until creamy. Then separate the eggs. Stir the egg yolk into the fat-sugar mixture and stir in the quark, pudding powder and semolina into the egg yolk mixture.
3. Next, beat the egg whites until stiff. Fold the egg whites, cherries and half of the chocolate sprinkles into the quark mixture and then spread them over the crumb base and spread the remaining chocolate sprinkles on top.

4. Bake at 185 C° for about an hour. Halfway through the time, cover the cake and let the cake cool in the springform pan after baking. Your new favorite cake is ready! Bon appetit!
