A wonderfully fruity recipe for summer

500 ml whipped cream
1 pack vanilla sugar
4 tbsp powdered sugar

Preparation:

1. For the dough: Beat the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy and gradually add the egg yolks, stirring constantly.

2. Then mix the flour with the baking powder, sieve over it and stir in the milk.
Then spread the dough nicely onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.

3. Now beat the egg white until stiff, slowly pour in the sugar and beat until stiff.

Distribute the egg white evenly over the dough and bake in the lower half of the preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for about half an hour. The surface of the egg white should be nice and light brown!

4. For the cream: Briefly whip the well-chilled whipped cream with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar, then add 3 tablespoons of jam and 2 packets of cream stiffener and beat until stiff.
Carefully fold in the cleaned, washed and finely chopped strawberries.

5. Finally, halve the dough, spread it with the cream and put it together.
